Lazy Dumbness

I had a feeling the Stone of Scone had been returned. Sorry, Scotland! Now, where is Bonnie Prince Charlie?

When I was in England in September, I saw the Coronation Chair in Westminster Abbey and yes, I can confirm that the bracket underneath the seat cushion for the Stone of Scone was empty! But apparently Scotland will loan the Stone back whenever the next coronation needs to be held. I had my photo taken with the Coronation Chair but then we got yelled at because you're not allowed to take photos in Westminster Abbey. Oops!

Damn Scotland to eternal servitude if it returns that stone for an English coronation!

Since the monarch being crowned is simultaneously the monarch of England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Commonwealth, perhaps the monarch should rest only that tiny portion of his/her bum on the Stone of Scone that corresponds to Scotland. Therefore, Scotland can loan the Stone back with a clear conscience because it's only for that tiny portion of royal Scottish bum. Yes, I think that's the best solution.
